Spectacular from start to finish. The most moving bittersweet ending of all time. Watching Elizabeth chase Will for one last kiss on the beach is as beautiful as it is agonising, and I love that the c...

The script for my next video is done. It's a bit of a long one, and I'm going to have to make a judgement call on how I pronounce Christophe Gans's surname.

Watching Red Eye series 1 and it's a fun concept, very watchable, but hampered by its main police character. I actually despise Hana on a personal level. Almost all the other police characters, too, are genuinely despicable and I'm not sure if they're supposed to be.

Watching Under the Dome, and it's sort of terrible. But the sheer concept plus how easy a mark I am for small town supernatural shenanigans is making it sort of addictive.

I'm also watching it in 4:3 because it feels like a 90s show.

Finished Hypogea, and it was excellent. Sly Raccoon-style platforming in a very Stray-like world full of sad robots.

Changed my mind. It still annoys me how long it takes Vince to tell a story on a scene-to-scene basis - the cold opens are painful - but Series 1 ended up a great slow burn that's poised things brilliantly.

I just hope Series 2 has more momentum from the off when it arrives.

For those who care:
Going to try and get back to making videos in a big way in 2026. A combination of real screenwriting work and psychological lethargy has held up production but I have plenty of ideas and a renewed energy to get them out.

Terrible, terrible shame about Vince Zampella. I'll always be grateful for him overseeing Titanfall 2, the best FPS game of all time. Spent hundreds of hours on that multiplayer.

I completely agree. Despite not giving a fuck about awards in general as a viewer/player I understand the massive importance for the creators and I think the laser focus on voice actors must be disappointing for others in performance.

Over time you kind of get used to the shit that Trump says but I'm actually disgusted by Trump's "eulogy" for Rob Reiner. Rob had more compassion, artistry and humanity in his big toe than Trump could muster in a hundred years.

Watched episode 4 and I can say little about this show other than that it's absolute drivel. If McTighe and Davies are permitted to continue working on Doctor Who etc. it will be nothing short of an embarrassment to British television.
The War Between the Land and the Sea is the worst thing any Sci-Fi can be: halfway between something serious and political and thematic (like The Three Body Problem) and something lighter that doesn't want you to think too much (like Doctor Who). Both of these are good - being in-between is not.
