For example, if you search for "guitar scales", "learn to play guitar" and "learn guitar". These are all keywords which had decent popularity. Now they all return 5. The only one working is "guitar" with 60.

Seems that the Apple SearchAds API is diverging between the popularities/recommendation endpoints.
The former is returning a value of 5 for many keywords which had decent values before, while the recommendations still return those higher values.

Noticed very slow loading while dogfooding AppShovel.com with long lists.
Reduced the amount of data and added lazy image loading.
Good improvement, but Safari is somehow still way slower than Chrome. 🤷♂️

So it is enabled per default, but it only appears when clicking continue once.

The fix is deployed, my best guess is that it's a caching issue now. 🤞

It gives you the recommendations from Apple SearchAds when searching for a term. The you can just click them to check their popularity/difficulty.

Added ranks for a connected app. Coming from mobile, it's pretty amazing to me how fast one can iterate on a web stack. 😅

Pretty happy how keyword lists for AppShovel.com turned out. Working on linking an app to them, so you see how it ranks over time. Also need to du some plumbing to make this all work.

Made some good progress on lists in the last two weeks.
✅ Add lists and edit title
✅ Add multiple keywords
✅ Show sync status and poll for updates
✅ Sort by name, popularity and difficulty.
✅ Multi-select to copy/delete keywords.

Only took me 2 minutes, I'm sure one can find better (untapped) keywords using the recommendations when going from keyword to keyword.

The main keyword "ai picture generator" seems like a good title opportunity, as no other apps are targeting it exactly. First one at number 24 with "only" 128 ratings. ☝️
