Don't switch to Linux if you need to control displays like external monitors, zoom calls, and overhead projectors etc. That's what drove me back to Windows as the hardware/software is generally optimised for Windows I guess

Have a read of The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett. I don't know if it's your idea of literary but the writing is wonderful.
