You totally should!! That sounds like a lovely place to live! The doodles dont have to be perfect, they can be literally anything… even circles
Ppl in general love sketchy art bc they have so much life and theyre so expressive, its like they tell us a story

I just sympathise with the perfectionism, and honestly theres no perfect art
If you want to have 100% consistent work, you’ll strip away its personality and end up with smt robotic like genAI looking shit, so… dont be afraid to make mistakes, keep the genuine human part of it

I find your sketch work really fun to look at tbh! Maybe dive into the idea of keeping that for the line art?

Hm maybe draw a sketch page full of different style of hands in different angles? Shapes, boxes and how they connect etc

+ chrctr limits… Im v slow too and I’m sure you’ll break away from this!
I get the need to fix stuff all the time but that is taking the fun out of art and can lead to burn out >.<
What I find therapeutic is drawing loosely and experimenting with different brushes + settings til I find smt new

The trick is to limit the time spent on those warm ups, I find challenging oneself to do routine ~1 min or ~3mins, etc gesture art helps so much.
Can be a sequence of them under 15mins frame

And for being stuck… look up more references, be it furry art or photos to help get the posing feel -right-

Omggh when I get stuck like that I end up doing warm ups or working on smt else bc most of the time I end up messing it up and liking what I had drawn initially, then curl into a ball and cry cos I spent so much time on smt I didnt have to weh weh…

Had an extended weekend off and hung out with friends
Went to the fair in Bad Dürkheim, got on few rides
Last one was the most terrifying but I caved in

Got off that ride traumatised and all WTF JUST HAPPENED
