Out on a Northern Lights tour right now and this popped up on the horizon right as we were out at our 2nd stop!
At 23:19 local time, RÚV moved their live cam from recording Grindavík to pan further north. At 23:35, it panned even further north, just missing the opening of the Sundhnúkur fissure. Here is a screen recording of the initial eruption.
