Could someone point me to any legal or academic definition of genocide that includes a timeframe?
I was asked "what would be different if this really were an intentional genocide against the Palestinians," and no one wants to hear the reality that it would be over by now. Genocide is not "a brutal and indiscriminate war that goes on for a long time." War crimes are not genocide.
"A genocide is only present when all possible force was brought to bear as soon as possible" is your argument?

So, with The Escapist holding on to the Zero Punctuation IP after the massive solidarity walkout, what are the odds that the suits will try to relaunch ZP with an AI-generated Yahtzee voice? They have dozens of hours to train on. It would be absolutely terrible, but it almost seems inevitable.

One of the ways Twitter is fundamentally broken - it keeps trying to force-feed me Star Wars, no matter what I do to tell the algorithm that I don't want it. "Oh, you didn't like this Star Wars Post when we labelled it 'entertainment franchises'? How about if we call it 'television?'"

Married With Children was famous for its raucous crowds. This was because they often handed out free tickets to tapings at the local military base. The studio audience skewed heavily towards young males. It's why the show became famous for crowd hooting whenever attractive women entered the scene.

Nothing says "Happy New Year" quite like Tsar Nicholas II's head on a rooster during the atonement ceremony when (for some) a chicken is waved over the head and then slaughtered in accordance with halachic rules and donated to the hungry.
