Minister Dara Calleary TD opened the 2025 National Rural Youth Assembly on 24th September - bringing together 65 young people from across the country to share their vision for the future of rural communities.

Their insights will help shape the next Our Rural Future policy from 2026 onwards.

Minister Calleary congratulates the towns of Maynooth and Terryglass on their achievements at the 2025 Entente Florale European competition in Slovenia last weekend.

It was also announced that Carlow Town will also be hosting this prestigious event in 2026.
