Northumberland Coast. Archaeologist passionate about the natural world. Love being outdoors, doing a bit birding too. Often seen walking the durgs.
We took the decision at 8am to fold. Driving at 5mph at Christon Bank was like Star wars hyperspace. Crazy conditions today. Well done for perseverance.

Alex Salmond once sold a Xmas card by Jack Vettriano for £86,000. What do you think of the painting? Did the buyer get a bargain?

This is a rhetorical question, but it does question the extent of data. Was there a walkable component on Hadrian's Wall? Can AI go beyond Breeze and Bidwell etc?

I guess with information advances we should expect AI reconstructions. So, is AI better, worse, or the same, as artistic interpretations?

Superb edition. Your pods get better every time. I've listened to all of them, and they get better. I think you are an inspired partnership. Keep up the snarky good work.

Lovely shot Tom. I think that bird might be a Tory

Three square metres of folly. Hodgsons folly, the bit in the photo, or the folly of Hadrian (which was a bit larger than three square metres). Anyway great opener for a discussion.

Fantastic. It's Thursday. It's Waldy & Bendy! Happy birthday Bendor. I hope you are on form lads.

Well all I ever see is their annoying subtitles engraved on stones

And the lack of dialogue. It's as if the dramatised bits were specifically produced to be sold across the globe.

Don't let Andrew catch you doing that!

This is brilliant.

Ooh. That's a good looking bird.

A cracker

Or is it actually a tiny shovel?
October 17, 2025 at 6:33 PM
That spade looks unusually small?

They know who has the money they need, but they are too weak to after it.
