I've been using Vivaldi for a little while, on both mobile and desktop, and have been pretty happy with it. As far as I can tell there's nothing AI or AI-based about it.

I started watching it today and the care and detail put into every frame and still are just astounding. It is a phenomenal follow-up to the show.

I sometimes get the feeling that guys like Newsom are trying to get ahead of anti-Trump momentum to take credit for it so they can pose themselves as the party's salvation without actually committing to meaningful change.

This same fight is happening basically all over again with silicosis - companies don't want to pay to do the work safely and it is costing workers their health and, often, lives.

As to whether they would outright rise against a slightly more creeping form of authoritarianism the case is a lot more hazy.

I'll say that cops self-select for cowardice and lack of moral courage, whereas the military population is a lot more diverse. I think large portions of the military would refuse to support an overt authoritarian takeover.

Predator is at least partly a satire about the big brash American commandos running into a situation for which they are entirely unprepared and being massacred largely due to their own overconfidence. Kind of sounds like a critique of, hmmm, every U.S. conflict since Vietnam, huh?

I largely agree with you; I do think there's something to be said for the US intelligence "mainstream" creating Sentry, the tool of the country's potential destruction, and its castoffs having to salvage it, but I don't think there's enough meat there to justify the rest.

Both types have a responsibility for their message, but there isn't an expectation to rewrite Shakespeare's words, whereas if you're writing a new screenplay, even if you're using an old character, you are creating a message with the contents of that screenplay.

Every piece of art is inherently political in what it chooses to present and how, and whose perspectives it centers and whose it ignores. There's a huge difference between writing a new piece of art based on an old property and a new presentation of an existing piece.
