It took 11+ months but I finally saw the @aba.org Bird of the Year today! I spotted half a dozen Common Loons at Percy Priest Lake here in Nashville. #birding

Two days at UVA means a morning bird walk at Ivy Creek Natural Area. Beautiful weather and excellent birding this morning. The highlight was a Northen Flicker who posed for me. I don’t get to photograph Flickers very often! #birding

The WiFi is strong for once so it’s time for birds.

At our first stop in Mexico was immediately greeted by multiple Magnificent Frigatebirds, which have wingspans bigger than pelicans! And they have “Magnificent” right in their name!
