On a positive note, just read about Helion, building the worlds first commercial fusion power plant in WA state. If it works as intended, the technology could be a gamechanger in solving the world's energy crisis. Coal sucks.

Largely true, but you could feel the energy (or lack of) in that room. Lots of "what the hell"..."what am I doing here"..."hope I can catch the redeye" on those faces.

Such a ridiculous PR stunt. I worked with and served for many faces in that auditorium (even sat there myself on a number of occasions) over the years & could read many of the faces screaming in silence "what the @#$@ are we doing here".
