“Aggressive”, I don’t think he was aggressive at all. “Defensive”, yes. If your life is on the line and you need help, and the person that can help you is ambushing you in public, I think we would all be defensive.

He’s not dictating. He’s begging. He acknowledged without US support, that he is in a much more difficult position.

He didn’t demand anything. He correctly called out that leaders have said they will resolve diplomatically including ceasefires for a decade now, and clearly nothing has changed. He asked for something more substantial than “diplomacy”.
