The worst part of the rhetoric from the left is they are making it about owing allegiance to a nation. Setting aside that no infant owes allegiance to any sovereign, they are clearly setting up the idea that people who protest or even just disagree with Trump can be stripped of citizenship.

Soccer is just a Britishism short for Association Football. There are multiple types of football. Rugby football, Gaelic football, Australian football, as well as American football. Soccer is a perfectly valid name, and they also do not get exclusive use of the word football.
