Apparently I get paid to implement things that make technology safe, and then spend that money making toy solders fight for my amusement.
If you have a 3d printer (or even if you don’t and are crafty) you might enjoy building a little Cyberdeck.
For me it mixed the Tech and Building elements to have a diy (and worse in pretty much every way) laptop. 😝

Enclose it all in a server rack! It would look cool, puppy can’t reach inside, AND you won’t have any money left over for a Christmas tree! ✨

Free is always a good price for anything. Make sure you supplement it with relevant industry skills for that extra oomph. Net+, Sec+ for entry level industry certs. HtB Sherlocks for blue team exposure. TryHackMe / HTB CTFs for red team.
Other fields such as GRC differ entirely!
