i totally agree, and i also thought of games in the opposite direction; games that include so many different other genres. i always felt n64 and ps1 games were trying to incorporate as many ideas as they could and unfortunately that philosophy did not survive

yeah, i found your stuff through your art, but it's nice to hear the person behind it. I often thought of hitting you up for a dialogue but i didn't want to come across as seeming disingenuous or w/e. in any case, I appreciate your thoughts (and your art!)

i 10000% agree. still, it's nice to hear someone speak out even if it seems contrary to the safer and more popular opinions out there

i'd recommend jimmy and the pulsating mass if you're interested in jrpgs. no fishing minigame, but you shake everyone!
