So just literally the plot of Fallout?

Aren't these tech companies telling on themselves a bit too much? I thought the entire idea of online shopping was that it was supposed to be easy and save you time? They're admitting that their platforms are unusable hellscapes?

I imagine downtowns clogged with thousands of teslas or whatever waiting for their owners to finish work.

I'm thinking in combination with privately-owned vehicles. It would essentially carpooling and dropping off family members for many. Also it would upend how parking works. People wouldn't pay $30 a day to park their AV downtown, they'll just send it home and have it wait outside their office at 4.

AV tech as a whole would definitely increase congestion since it would increase the number of trips the average household takes ever day.

What about threat of competition? Clog the streets with your robotaxis to make it harder for others to enter a market. Big tech doesn't seem to care about things like efficiency these days, only market dominance.

I guess it all boils down to this. A robot that can sort of navigate around a house and might be able to take an object into a different room if you're lucky. They really have nothing here.

Very hard choice to make between having a livable planet and having this.

Doesn’t “Part-time“ imply he’s at least working about 20 hours a week? No way it’s anything more than a tenth of that. Casual Part time would be too generous.

I can't believe my parent's pension funds are invested in this openly fraudulent company. When does the church of scientology get added to the S&P 500?
November 6, 2025 at 10:19 PM
If you listen hard enough you can hear all of the writers of HBO's Silicon Valley falling into a deep depression.
November 6, 2025 at 10:18 PM
Lame, why not a trillion a year? You could have them make each other? Exponential growth in production?
November 6, 2025 at 10:14 PM
If this AI shit is so hot and your product is going to die if it doesn't have an AI chatbot, then why is the money going in the opposite direction of what I would expect?

So, yesterday?

The bubble will pop before they can reach their targets anyway.
November 6, 2025 at 12:32 PM
This man is a genius, plebs like you and I are incapable of understanding his brilliance.
November 6, 2025 at 11:42 AM
Doesn't make it good, but less nauseating.

If you must use ChatGPT, goto settings -> personalization and write custom instructions. Something like: Do not anthropomorphize yourself. When providing information always include sources. Do not use pronouns to refer to yourself. Do not flatter the user. Minimize pointless chatter.

Really, it's fun when the ethical move is also the profitable move yet being ethical is so unacceptable that profits must be sacrificed.
November 5, 2025 at 2:48 PM
Imagine being in the streets defending a trillion dollar company.

"Person leaving literature about our lord and saviour at the front door" would be slightly useful. Having them indoors though is crazy.
November 4, 2025 at 9:38 PM
Complete disaster for humanity. Ban it before it's too late.
November 4, 2025 at 5:47 PM
If those are the "misuses", then what are the legitimate uses? Making shitty 10-second short films? Making disinformation?
