visited seven mile beach today to see how easy it is to walk from cambridge to the hobart airport to seven mile beach.
for the record, i do Not recommend walking on grueber avenue. go cambridge way, everyone. it does work as a skybus money saver. but walking to seven mile beach isn’t worth it…

on the anytrip app/website, you can see what type of bus your service will be once it’s begun operations!
if it says MET2XX, that indicates it’s a NCBC Downtown City Bus, which were delivered 2002-07 and only sometimes have air conditioning
all other buses should have air conditioning

yesterday (and today) i went out to see the shuttle bus at regatta point!
it is operating for the city of hobart a service to the CBD this month with free parking.
and it is MET200, australia’s first ever low floor bus built 1992, which was a major step in the right direction for our transit!

being a hobart transit enthusiast can be intensely confusing.
for instance, look at this old 2015-era map of bus services to gagebrook and bridgewater.
i have no idea how they justified this many services with so few differences.
an attempt at explanation in the replies...
