I hope this isn't bad form, but I was verrryyy inspired by this and wrote a lil sequel!!! 2ho, Yungi, 🔞 1000 words

Mingi keeps his helmet on as he goes through the temple doorway, in case the air isn’t safe to breathe. He is grateful for the extra layer between him and what he sees once he arrives in the sanctum.

The raised platform at the center of the room is occupied by a man. Or, by something. Rivers of shadow snake over the man-shape seated on the platform like a throne, thick tendrils of darkness creeping out from him in every direction as though he is growing into the stone. Infecting it. There is a kind of low hissing sound in the air, audible even through Mingi’s helmet. The man has a round, pleasant face, sometimes obscured and sometimes clear, incongruous in the nest of horror that is the rest of him. The face smiles when Mingi enters the room.

And at the man-shape’s feet is Yunho.

The bottom drops out of Mingi’s stomach and his skin prickles, hard. Yunho is naked, legs drawn up to his chin, huddled against the man-shape with his arms wrapped around its leg and his cheek pressed to its knee. He is looking at Mingi, but there is no surprise, or any visible emotion, on his face.

“Yunho?” Mingi whispers. He can’t believe what he’s seeing. Yunho isn’t just naked, he’s dirty, too, like he’s been naked for a long time.

Yunho blinks slowly at him. He doesn’t move.

“Yunho, it’s me, it’s Mingi – I – I came to –”

“You came to get him,” the man says, like a thousand whispers at once. Mingi flinches from the sound. “Didn’t you? To rescue him from me?”

Mingi hesitates, breath loud in his own ears, and then he decides it’s too late for anything but the truth. He struggles with the latches on his helmet before he can yank it off and look this thing directly in the eye. “Yes,” he says loudly. “I’m here to take back what you stole. Yunho doesn’t belong to you.” He can’t stop looking down at Yunho, at his hunched pale form on the floor, and desperately fights the feeling that what he’s saying isn’t actually true. “He belongs at home. With me. I’m going to bring him back there today.”

The thing on the dais smiles again. It’s a gummy, charming smile, and it chills Mingi right down to the bone. “Ask him,” it says in that chorus of whispers. “I won’t fight you, Song Mingi. I want Yunho to have what he wants the most.” It moves its knee, nudging Yunho’s face. “Yunho. Your friend has something to say to you. Go speak with him.”

Yunho uncurls his long limbs at once, disentangling himself from the man’s leg and rising to stand, and it makes Mingi sick all over again to see him like this: naked, smudged with dirt, a little thinner than the last time Mingi saw him.

Yunho walks right up to Mingi, uncaring of his own nakedness. “Hi,” he says, and his voice is so normal that a lump rises in Mingi’s throat.

“Hi,” he says, his own voice cracking. “Are you okay? Are – I mean, are you ready to go home? I’m here to take you home, Yunho.” His hands keep flitting up to touch Yunho and then back down, not sure if he can, if he should.

Yunho smiles a little, lips closed, that oh, Mingi smile that Mingi knows so well it hurts. He reaches out and takes Mingi’s nervous hands. And then he leans in and kisses him.

The relief is so intense that Mingi makes a sound halfway to a sob. He brings one hand up to Yunho’s bare shoulder and the other to his jaw, kissing him back, trying to be gentle, just in – just in case. Yunho’s hands settle on his waist, and his lips are soft, the way they always are, and his mouth opens sweetly under Mingi’s the way it always does, and Mingi tries to communicate everything he wants to say in the warm slide of their tongues. I love you. I’ve been so terrified. I thought you were gone forever and it almost killed me. Please come home with me. I love you.

Mingi gradually realizes something is wrong. Yunho’s tongue stops matching him stroke for stroke, and then it withdraws. Yunho’s lips slow and finally stop moving. Yunho’s hands fall away from his waist. Mingi looks at him, helpless, not sure what it means, what to say.

Yunho leans his forehead against Mingi’s, and Mingi’s eyes reflexively close. “I’m sorry,” Yunho says, like he heard everything Mingi didn’t say, his husky voice gentle. “It’s just not enough anymore.” Mingi feels Yunho’s cold hand against his cheek. And then when he opens his eyes, Yunho is walking away, back toward the thing on the dais.

Yunho settles back down at its feet, and when Mingi looks up at its face, one corner of its mouth is tugged upward in a little smile. “What do you want, Yunho?” it asks, looking right at Mingi.

“To be full,” Yunho says on a sigh. The thing shifts its legs, opening them, and Yunho turns to its lap, mouth already open.

Mingi is frozen, mind completely unmoving, like a jammed machine. The man moves dark, too-long fingers at its waist and then something shadowy and obscene pours itself into Yunho’s waiting mouth. Immediately, thin tendrils of shadow crawl over Yunho’s face and shoulders, creeping down his naked body. Yunho moans, high and loud even over the susurration of the shadows in the room. Before they close in ecstasy, Mingi sees the whites of his eyes fill with black.

Mingi sucks in a huge, watery breath and it is only then that he realizes he is crying. He leans down and retrieves his helmet from the floor. For protection from the sounds, for lack of anything else to do, he puts it back on.

As he leaves the temple, he can still hear a thin, delighted laugh echo off the stone.

Is this legal

Hyunjin in a red wig sits with his head tilted and his shirt down around his upper arms, revealing his shoulders. He has one thumb pushed in between his own lips. Unclear if he is biting down or not. Thank god his red bangs mostly obscure the sultry eye contact he is making with the camera or I would not survive.
