Looking at NYC exit polls for mayoral race:
Independents were split between Cuomo and Mamdani roughly 50/50.
Moderates were split 55/36 for Cuomo.
I think that's a great representation of what many moderates are: people who are more right-wing than they want to admit.

So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!

<p>Their bodies have been withheld from their families.</p>
<p>Israeli forces also injured at least fifteen Palestinians following Friday prayers in Beit Lid, near Tulkarem, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. </p>
<p>Friday’s assault came after communities in Kafr Quddum and Beit Lid organized a demonstration against the development of a new illegal settlement in the area, Wafa reported.</p>

<p data-end="1050" data-start="891">An official overseeing the process told Al Jazeera that one of the bodies was returned without a head, describing the condition of the remains as “horrific”.</p>
<p data-end="1202" data-start="1052">Health officials say identifying the victims has become nearly impossible as Israel continues to block the entry of DNA testing equipment into Gaza.</p>
<p data-end="1406" data-is-last-node data-is-only-node data-start="1204">The ministry accused Israel of showing “complete disregard for human dignity”, saying the state of the returned bodies exposes the brutality Palestinians have endured under Israeli occupation and siege. </p>
