I’m so sorry. I worked for years as a copy editor and writer for home and garden online publications but eventually I saw my opportunities disappear as I got older. Though my work was nowhere near as important as yours I empathize with the loss of your position. I’m sure you’ll find something soon!

I never wore a pussy hat but I clearly remember the feeling of utter dread I felt on election night in November 2015. Others with me told me not to overreact. In retrospect, I wasn’t scared enough.
