There's no shame in dropping a class or two if it turns out to be a bad fit, and trying out something else you might have more luck with. I switched to an upper level psychology class that filled both the requirements above and it actually turned out to be easier and more enjoyable for me personally

There were a couple stand out classes that were really hard, and I usually ended up dropping them. I had an upper level environmental science class that I just couldn't keep up with, and a lower level world religions class with upper level workload.

it'll heavily depend on the field but if it makes you feel any better, I actually found a lot of my classes got easier as time went on. Due to me being able to take more random electives I actually wanted to take, being more familiar with the system in general, etc.

High school or college?

I'm too ambitious for my own good and I feel like at some point I'm just going to need to accept that I'm physically and mentally too handicapped to be good at games

in terms of effort that sounds insane but surely it's a lot of grind (I barely know anything about balatro)
