I often think of Matthew 25:31-46. I feel it to be the most profound scripture in all the Bible as it is the guidelines of what it means to be a true Christian. How we treat others, especially in crisis, is how we treat God. We should also absolutely call people out for their bs & evil ways.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more succinct statement about the deluge of performative Christianity we, as a whole, are experiencing AND suffering from. Using the Bible to weaponize & justify hateful words, hateful actions & hateful beliefs is the antithesis of what Christ, himself, embodies.

Happy birthday!!! We recently adopted sweet 1Y Freddie Mercury from our shelter. Freddie has brought us, incl the older fur babies in the home, much joy. Pit boxer shepherd mix & boy, is he meant for the stage! He’s got some amazing vocalizations! #adoptdontshop

Up for a promotion & dreading the interview. I always seem to black out & have an out of body experience simultaneously. But my in-home cheer squad (hubs & son) sent me some encouraging words. I wish every female had this kind of healthy masculinity in their lives.
