Today is the 60th anniversary of the first of 15 meetings between Tennessee and UCLA. It took place in Memphis and, because the Vols had already accepted a Bluebonnet Bowl bid and UCLA was headed to the Rose Bowl, it was dubbed the Rosebonnet Bowl by the Vol Network.

I’m thrilled that Chris Brazzell II led the SEC in receiving yards but it’s crazy that he was the only person in the 16 team league to exceed 1000 yards.
