I had a dialogue with the steering committee and general chairs - they're not interested in having alt.chi at next year's conference, but encourage the same sort of content to exist in workshops, meetups, and to be submitted to the main track... as I understand it.

Has anyone “tasted the future” ? (the tag line for this brand of “ai curated” wine)

… I don’t want to prejudge, but I have. Struggling to imagine what problem this is solving, apart from possibly how to flog this particular blend of wine for a couple of quid more than usual.
