After my recent cartoon watching, I have come to this conclusion.

The ‘Know the Work Rules’ exploitable meme. In the top panel (APPROPRIATE) is Donkey Kong from the 1996 ‘Donkey Kong Country’ series. In the bottom panel (INAPPROPRIATE) is Sonic the Hedgehog from the 1999 series ‘Sonic Underground. Both of them are saying “I’m a late 90s animated series that’s based on a video game, has musical numbers and weird animation”. The woman thinks Donkey Kong is sweet and is repulsed by Sonic
