Here's what I think about gacha games. If you have them installed you should be blocked and banned from playing other games. They should uninstall themselves if a gacha game is detected on your machine. Taste is earned, not bought or gambled on.

The thing that gets me about this is that even if we wanted to make a positive AI ad, they never showcase AI being used to enhance someone’s day or improve their workflow. There’s no “it allows me to more easily do what I love.” It’s always presented as a failsafe for the dispassionate and incurious
in a just society JPEG XL would prosper because all these file formats for animated images in the now are horrifying in some way. apng is too big, avif requires a shit ton of compute because I do not have a 40 series GPU, GIF has surpassed its need and era, webp is too google brained

It's paradoxical to expect yourself to build a big tent bigger than your ego for the sake of welcoming or inviting "different opinions" when those words directly shape the livelihood of minorities, especially if you want us to coexist with you. No moderate action will ever be good enough.
