Yeah, you're right. I think because how much the OOT code is the base for Majora's Mask, my brain does low key see it as a precursor to DLC is the real hurdle.

Also, saying that like Super Mario Bros. 3 isn't better... I can't commit to that bit.

Majora's Mask is the better game. But it's also a rare *true sequel*. Its systems, story, everything is built on the back of Ocarina of Time. Even in a vaccum, Majora's Mask is more interesting/fun to play. But I have such a hard time squaring the circle of, MM doesn't exist without OoT.
