extremely stream of consciousness “review”. Holy shit
Oh my god. Yes it’s true it’s buggy yes it’s true its clunky yes it’s true the pacing is disorienting yes it’s true it feels like you are missing out on things that apparently happened sometimes it’s All True. But oh my god. This thing is one of those that has such an absurd amount of Love poured into it that a lot of its issues only made me appreciate that more for the insane ambition of even making something like it and getting it out to the world. I love how palpable the sense of the team gettign better and better at making games as it goes on is, to, it’s a game that just gets better and better as it goes along in all aspects as it seems to figure out what it wants to be more culminating in a final act that just eroded my soul entirely. I don’t know if it was “linearly developed” like that but it sure feels like it. So much of the later stuff feels like a response to Itself and how it started. It’s so crazy dude. Its got tamako market yuri. Fuck

six episodes in and it’s still like the most grounded normal thing ive ever seen ever. completely played straight realistic human drama. theres the little things about it that still make me wonder if it’s gonna subvert that but at this point I have no idea
