Last night it got a little cold and I got out this blanket to put over my legs. My Obaachan (grandmother) crocheted this - most likely from leftovers from other projects. She died about 30 years ago. But here she is - her work, from her hands. How cool is that?

My current #TemperatureBlanket progress - I’m a week behind because we had the Red Alder Fiber Arts show last week. But, I have moved to the second background color! And I know have some warmer temps coming…

I knit this about 8 years ago, still wear it all the time, and it still looks great (tight twist on the yarn and a firm gauge? Yes, please)!

I knit this sweater for my husband - I’m giving it to him for his birthday. Pattern is my own: a plain body with a nice big cable panel down the arms. This is also a WIP-finishing victory for me, because it sat dormant for a number of years. #knitting #craftiverse

Well so today is also my anniversary. Tough day to celebrate but what can you do. I crocheted a silver piece to add to my #TemperatureBlanket bc apparently 23 is the silver plate anniversary? I also made one for my husband’s birthday coming up - red for his birthstone.

I made green my coldest color because I like green the least 😂

Finished socks - in my continued run of attacking old #WIPs ! I think I started these about a year and a half ago. I thought I only had to do the toes, but the BO on the cuffs was too tight, so I unpicked them and did JSSBO instead. Now they’re great. And DONE!

I’ve knocked two WIPs (one very old) off my list this month. My goal is to finish one more: a sweater for my husband. Yarn I dyed myself about 7 years ago, my design, sweater has been mostly done for several years. About a year ago I decided to rip out the ribbing to make it longer. Wish me luck! 🧶

Another WIP done! 🧶 This Yellowstone or Yosemite? hat (my pattern, available on @knitty.com ) is for my dad. I can post here because he won’t see it. I blocked the head extra big so it would be a little slouchy (or just fit his giant noggin) lol
