I wanna give a shout out to The Spark as well, I feel like I only truly came to appreciate how brilliant this album is this year and now I can't get enough, even if some of the tracks make me wanna cry

First off, my AOTY has to be I don't want to see you in heaven by the callous daoboys, I can't say enough about how insanely good this album is, easily the best release of the year without competition

God is it awkward trying to converse with grandparents when they keep pulling out phrases like "your hair is too long it makes you look like a girl". Like yeah... That's the whole fucking point but I can't exactly tell them that or I'd be damn near crucified

Yeah I hear the moderation is a bit iffy and it is missing some stuff, but I love not having ad's and AI bs and hate speech plastered over my home screen all the time. Like legit every time I have to open twitter these days it feels like I'm being catapulted into some dystopian future lol

I feel like my life would be far less painful if I could stop torturing my brain like this on a weekly basis and all it needs is a little common sense

Like every time I know I'm in that state of mind where seeing the wrong thing, be it some depressing news or someone living the life I wish I had for myself or whatever else, is gonna become fuel for my brain to fuck with me. Then that thing suddenly becomes irresistible so I do it anyways

Yeah that's a good way to put it, I think it's the same for me really the sound of mercurial world overall is a better vibe for me, bits and pieces of imaginal disk are great but I feel like mercurial world is more consistent as a whole

The only sticking point is whether I can figure out a way to keep windows secure boot intact when using something like GRUB for choosing OS, 'cause so many of the programs I use that don't support Linux require it, and that would kill the project if the only reason I'm keeping windows stops working
