Try using solectrus I really fell in love with the simplistic pv-dashboard you can feed all sorts of consuption devices via mqtt

I've got the sonoff dongle with a 5m usb extension cord hooked to my Synology nas where HA is hosted in a docker. 5mins of googling solved the problem, that apparently with DSM7 you can't plug in external dongles via usb... migrated everything from Philips Hue over-- works flawlessly ever since
