I'm fine with Detroit not getting Hughes because I think Yzerman is hoping he will just not re-sign in Minnesota and can sign him as a free agent without giving up premium pieces. If they can make the playoffs this year and next while the young players develop and Detroit can make a good case.

I had to help a patron make copies of his thank you letter from the White House for donating $5,000. He was so proud too and wanting me to read that trash. Might as well just set that money on fire and it'd do more good than what he did. Old dude looked like someone who couldn't really afford it too

Had to close the cabin up north this weekend and of course this is the first time one of our dogs got porcupined. Luckily there were only 15 or so and in his lips. A couple were in the roof of his mouth but not deep. We were able to pin him down and pull the needles out and he's fine now
