That effort to clear the puck was gutsy. I appreciate it. And also horribly executed, made worse by Matthews falling down. Which I appreciate more.

All the talk of color-vs-color is interesting to me but I'll always contend that the Red Wings' away jersey is their best jersey.

Also, I've been very "I'll believe it when I see it" about the NHL doing more color-on-color because that something I specifically asked Gary Bettman when the 2014 Winter Classic jerseys were unveiled and he said "Let's see how this goes." It seemingly went well... And nothing happened until now.
