The question in the future will be what's the smallest model that can do my tasks?

You're going to see people fine tuning small models and offering them to businesses soon because it's just the obvious way to go. It's what I'm doing and I can spinup my own server and not rely on chatgpt too. It also doesn't require massive data centers since it can all be spread around.

Realistically Sam Altman and the rest know this which is why they have Sora for specialized tasks, and a vision model for embedding. Smaller, fine-tuned mean less power and faster than using the generalized. There are small companies letting you run gemma 12b parameter and that's all I need for RAG.

Much like main frames went to personal computers and processors went to multiple and specialized processors. AI goes from these monolith generalized models that will never achieve AGI, to fine-tuned small specialized models. You don't need the latest model to serve people FAQs on your site. And..

And also let them know to stop reacting to inane BS meant to get you off the real stories. Who cares about cracker barrel or american eagle. That's not important. It's always been Bannon's strategy to throw so much shit out there you lose site of the real issues. Stick to the real stuff.

Democratic party doesn't need any help. They'll shit on themselves plenty. If they were smart they would embrace Bernie, AOC, and Buttigieg as their leaders.

Ignoring them won't make them go away. The left tried that last election. Maybe sane voices can help some of their listeners.

That's why I'll never own one of elmo's swasticars and I won't use any of the voice AI "helpers". Claude has been good for coding, but it only exists in my IDE
