Couldn't you just parse a command line argument into a prepared ffmpeg script?
#!/bin/bash
ffmpeg -i "$1" -q:a 0 -map a "${1%.mp4}.mp3"
I guess GUIs are also nice :)

Sad to hear that Simon. But it seems like that that's part of being a YouTuber. You gotta ignore the people who do not follow you, or in your case, stop following you.
