What if “winning” meant everyone had enough food, access to affordable healthcare, and quality education? Emphasis on everyone.
That’s the kind of world I want my grandchildren to live in.

So very “Christian” to bomb another country on Christmas Day. This is the same guy who has practically begged for the Nobel Peace Prize.

A country that had begun to make progress in believing women is regressing. In this environment, it becomes more and more difficult for victims to come forward, which means that the people committing crimes against them are going to get away with it. Again.

Which Side Is DOJ on: The Epstein Files
With apologies for writing about such a serious topic as we enter the Christmas holidays, these developments seemed too important to ignore.

Do you remember Betty Reid Soskin? She was the oldest serving National Park Ranger in the United States, we celebrated her retirement at the age of 100.

Betty Reid Soskin (1921–2025) passed away on Sunday, but she lived an extraordinary life.

“The answers are only temporary.”

This is as easy a test of your belief in the American system as is conceivable: Should this be an acceptable argument from a president?

Since his dime store lawyers suggested he could get away with more authoritarian stuff under the guise of “National Security”, anything he doesn’t like is labeled a threat to national security.

The spin from the Trumpists is dizzying.

With the birthday letter to Epstein, this report of multiple private flights, and Trump’s dogged resistance to releasing the files, how can anyone doubt that at a minimum he knew exactly what was going on, if not an active participant?

Over the past 11 months, the trump regime has brought more negative change to Washington than any administration in American history. There's never been anything like it. They have destroyed more than anyone can imagine.

If you think switching which corporate owned legacy media outlet you consume is the solution, you don't really understand how deep the problem is. It's not just ABS, CBS, WaPo or the LA Times. It's the system in which they work.

The only solution is to support pro-democracy independent media.

I'm not a conservative commentator. No one pays me $150m to spike stories Trump doesn't like. No major network is making me the editor in chief.

I am just a lawyer who fights for democracy and built Democracy Docket from scratch. For $10 a month you can help it do its vital work. hubs.ly/Q03CbHTt0

"If the standard for airing a story becomes, 'the government must agree to be interviewed,' then the government effectively gains control over the 60 Minutes broadcast. We go from being an investigative powerhouse to a stenographer for the state."

Bari Weiss is the logical endpoint of corporate media. This is what happens when people who hate journalism are in charge of it. The only way journalism works is when it’s independent from the power it’s supposed to hold to account, which means ownership can’t have anything to do with those in power

So, Congress passes a law requiring the release of ALL the Trumpstein files. Any redactions to protect ONLY the victims

Trump DOJ releases a highly redacted and incomplete batch after working on them for months, citing various lame excuses for their non-compliance

This is what a coverup looks like
