2/3 What I have found is that during these times, it's most important as it ever had been actively participating in the protection of our rights as human beings, wether it be through formal, written, or verbal protest, through getting involved in the legal aspect, or simply checking in on folks.

People choose cruelty over problem solving on the simple basis that its easier to beat your problems with a club until they submit than to actually reason with said problem.
Unfortunately, we may have to meet their violence with our own brand.
