Writing for sales seems like such a bleak denial of the humanity and art of writing 😭

I'm looking to write scripts for a 'radio play' project I've been wanting to do for years.

The biggest gap seems to be actually moving the plot by myself as opposed to having the main 'actors' controlled by others and spinning the narrative in response to their acts (ttrpg style 😅)

Definitely when I sent an author into a 4 post rant for not having seen what she had on the great wide internet

I'm reminded of a piece of advice I heard once- 'if it can't be fixed in a literal 5 minutes (like something stuck in the teet), you don't need to comment on it at all.'

I got a lot of shocked responses to how nonchalantly I was talking about my potential death 😂

I remember telling people I might not wake up when I was getting ready to go under and you're reminding me of that and how it went over with people haha
