Mixed feelings on this. I like him, respect the fact he hasn't backed down in opposing Trump, but his positions during normal times are fundamentally right-of-center, if not further right. Democrats don't really need more centrists. Maybe he's trying to flip a GOP seat?

There's certainly precedent for that here. If memory is correct, Mr. Davis was asked this question following a similar vote and the defection of Tricia Cotham, which gave the GOP a veto-proof majority in the House. They both went on to engage in similarly confounding behavior.

Don Davis has been a DINO for years, and despite his efforts, the NC GOP redrew his district. Good riddance to him and the others.

While oil is the obvious target, I'm just going to assume that alerting countries hostile to us that our military will be tied up is really about selling out the country to whomever can get here first. Peachy.
