In this hands-on class, we’ll explore key principles behind tying effective karada - focusing on aesthetics, structure, and adaptability. You will learn: Patterns for classic hishi and kikkou karada How to adapt body harnesses to suit different bodies, aesthetics, and goals Ways to incorporate karada into play for floorwork and (if interest) suspension This class is part of our Containers track, focused on the technical and conceptual underpinnings of harness design: the why of a tie. If You're Tying: If you know how to tie a single-column tie, you’re ready! This event is all about curiosity + feedback, the two most essential elements in improving, regardless of skill level.
