If these changes must be forced on organisations, then it's clear this is the result of a handful of extremists imposing their views on groups which have been very happily trans inclusive for many years if not decades.

I guess it doesn't have to be gods. Presumably it's something vast and powerful no-one can see directly, but the people in the background could call it the Natural Order or the Great Mechanism?

Likewise, it's safer to presume things happen for a reason, that something is behind it that could be a danger, so we see intention in everything, and this leads us to believe that even the sun must be shining for a reason. And that reason is gods. 2/2

Humans have a tendency to find patterns in things, as a way of avoiding predators: for example if that pattern of leaves and shadow looks like a tiger, our brain will switch to fight or flight mode, regardless of how likely it is that a tiger is here, because it's safer to presume tigers. 1/2
