That is very different from my statement. Cars, trains, and planes all serve a purpose of being transportation that is faster than a horse and wagon, where as what you are arguing is that we need to replace art as a broad medium with Generative AI, which fundamentally requires the theft of art

I hate capitalism as well, my anger towards Generative AI is it is being used to rid of jobs that should not be robbed from people, the ability to create should be left to the people not corporations stealing artists work for training material on their AI models

people would hate their jobs less if they were paid a living wage and had proper benefits, you are projecting a rich living artist onto the entirety of artists, most artist are hobbyist and have regular jobs, and Generative AI rips what little opportunities those hobbyist make to turn it into a job

what exactly is fancy and aloof about artists I know some and they do honest work for far less than what they are worth? I would argue it requires a lot dedication and time to get pieces done, especially time spent creating their own styles
