I was snapping pictures of my cats in their makeshift bed by the window when I noticed what I thought was an unusually orange light coming from the neighbor’s place. Turns out, it was actually the sun—its reflection on their window tint seemingly created a solar-filter effect. It looks kinda cool!

Meet Jiyok (left) and Jello (right)—adoptive siblings and best friends since they were kittens.
Jiyok (จี้หยก) means 'Jade Pendant' in Thai, named for the green hue in her eyes.
Jello’s full name is Prince Jellybean von Gelatin (but 'Jell-O' for short).

Listening to Viola Davis as she narrates her book while I put together my reading list for this month. Something about the way she speaks is so comforting and relatable.
