Before there was Union Station, there was La Grande Station, LA's main railway hub from 1893 to 1939. Located at 2nd and Santa Fe on the LA River, it was smaller but equally ornate, with a mashup of Spanish Colonial, Art Deco, Moorish and Mission Revival styles.

This app is genuinely so relaxing compared to The Other One but like all my mooties are still on The Other One so I find myself being on there more often

It absolutely hurts that most queer spaces I’ve found irl have turned out to only be safe queer spaces for white/nonblack people. I cannot wait to be in a bigger city at a university where I can potentially find people who understand me in the way I wanna be understood

Been reading Angela Davis autobiography since yesterday and I’m a little bit over half way through. The book was published in the early 70s when she was in her mid thirties but damn that girl been through a lot in such a sort period of time.

Read a good 1/4 of Angela Davis autobiography in 2 hrs (a little disappointed because Ik I can read faster than that but I was also taking notes because I have to write a paper about the book) N E WAYS! She’s very interesting and a lot of what she describes is very relevant today.

I wonder if it’s true what they say about muscles being easy to rebuild if you had them before cuz my sophomore year I had pretty strong thigh and calf muscles
I have not intentionally worked out in about 6 months. Why did I try to do a heavy leg/glute workout (WITH WEIGHTS) and now my legs are wobbly and sore 🤦🏾 I literally cannot stand
