I agree it’s not ideal as a student, but AI use is getting wild. A surprising number of my peers use apps like chatGPT for most assignments. I’ve been in group projects where people’s initial thought was to upload the assignments into gpt. A lot of them see it as legitimate learning too.

I’ve had professors give us timed writing assignments. And then have us download respondous so they can monitor our screens. Definitely not bulletproof but I’ve had a few professors structure assignments like that
