Finished my practise run of npc portraits! And really happy to see the improvement across them!

Hello! Searching for these duo pieces made me realise I need to finish more of the scenes in my drafts folder 😅

Eirril is clearly aware that he is not paying attention and bears a slightly irritated expression as he guesures at the notes Ekris is supposed to be listening too the feather dangeling from his ear catching the light in a way that only further captivates Ekris attention over the boring paper before them. An illustration of two Victorian styled men seen though the window of an apothecary, the shorter dark haired man is shirtless being embraced by the taller redhead. His head is tilted back to look up at the other man who looks into his eyes.

Been making npc profiles for for gming to practice more.
The description the portrait is worked from: Ignition stands out immediately as someone who shouldn't generally have the means to be hanging out in a place like this. They are very clearly magical in nature, what with their hair of pure fire and the burning embers that they would call eyes that sit in the dark coal like skin. Veins of amber fire run under their flesh like ruts of lava through volcanic stone. Three of these veins almost perfectly run between three dark iron studs around their lips causing a near perfect triangle to cross over their mouth. A flash of amber and dark iron can be seen on their tongue when they talk. Their left ear is cuffed in a piercing that curls around the ear itself like flames licking at a pyre. The distinct hiss of steam follows Ignition when they move and looking at their right arm and lower right leg you can see a few clear, steam filled chambers encased in that same dark iron they seem to be fond of. It seems someone has replaced said limbs with some strange prosthetics. On one hand rests a ring similar to the one you saw before on Aeneas' hand, though with the crown's crest on it. The description the portrait is worked from: Ermryl is a well-dressed and clearly self-respecting spiritborn. His mud brown hair and beard are braided with amber rings. His ears are rimmed with golden hoops that match the two ringing his left eyebrow and reflecting delicately in his hazel eye. While he sings to himself under his breath you can see a flash of amber on his tongue, presumably another piercing.

OC share: what's a seemingly important part of your OC design that is absolutely important to you?

Airis’s shape motif of the circle and diamond (also in Erebus’ design) is actually a representation of their family name. (1/2)
Airis’s design with the shape on his lapells and waistcoat buckles. The flower shaped charm made of the same shape hands from his collar and his shoe. Airis’s mother’s design where the shape can be seen on her belt ribbon and in the decoration at the base of her skirt. Airis and Erebus together where Erebus’s starburst use of the shape can be seen on his glove and pants. Erebus’s design where the shape can be seen on his sheath and belts. At this point in time he hasn't formed enough of his own sense of identity to craft his specific namesake symbol.

Tried a painterly style of my boy for the first time. I've never really done anything like this before and I'm so happy with how it came out! I'm excited to try more like this and find my own middle ground.

Idk how far my style has moved away from my anime roots but most of my personal artwork is my d&d blorbos or party members!
A small comic of a scene from our campaign where the party is harvesting a creature while asking an npc they rescued who kidnapped them. The party members on show are in good spirits. A scene of one of my characters (a rogue) having taken apart a pocket watch and struggling to get it back together. Two of mine and my partners characters studying in their universities library, practicing for their upcoming magic exams.

Time ran low for my yearly campaign Christmas card so here's the attempt I made at my characters being put in charge of it instead, happy seasons all!
A poorly drawn series of silly almost stick figures crowded together like a family phono on the deck of a boat. There is a gelatinous cube in the corner, several mini dragons, a larger drake, some mimics and two bone dogs also depicted as shoddy doodles.
