Immigration policy has dictated our politics since - and because of - Brexit. It has led to nothing but failure, division and a resurgence in brazen racism. It is a scapegoating shield dishonest politicians hide behind to deny their own responsibility. And, ultimately, it has become utterly ruinous.

The crew that remained were apparently resorting to literally biting their own hands to keep it in.
