Shortly after taking office he launched his own crypto meme coin, $TRUMP. It shot up in value because of course MAGA cultists. After it shot up he sold off most if not all of his shares which was the bulk. It’s a pump and dump, it’s a con and if done with regulated securities it’s illegal.

100% this is a con by Trump and it’s about money. The very first thing he did was a crypto rug pull FFS. It’s mind blowing that MAGA can’t recognize the con.

As a Canadian thanks for that comment. I also struggle with this a bit because I love the states and always find Americans to be awesome people. We go to California and Oregon and it’s great but at the same time I don’t want to buy American anymore and can’t visit while this is all going on.
