This website really helped me grasp all the different sizes of screens there are and I was able to set up a little dev tester page. There's a drop-down that allows me to flip through the sizes from 320 to 500 now. Excite.

Eventually, I'm going to have to dive into the Javascript. Since I don't want to do that .... I could work on organizing the code or working on the sizing. Guess those are my next steps.

Whelp. That's the text styles figured out. Six headings (3 larger than the paragraph text and low smaller). Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, two highlights.

I figured out how to make button interactions stick. I've not looked into how to make it so you can only click once though. So. Infinite [ HUG ]s for me, I guess.

Remembered my Proton project. Hopped in and had 15 emails after a single day. Mostly newsletters and promotional things. Unsubscribed to all of them. Hopefully that'll clean up the inbox a bit.

Ventus post mockup is starting to look good! I was inspired by BlueSky and added labels and the interact options. Need to add hover and click effects to the interaction buttons. Not pleased with the "read more" label.

Okay, so. It's not more than a tiny reconstruction of a single post (before the drop down, no less), but I finished the remake. It needs to be polished, but the concept is good. And I just realized now is when I get to start making my own design choices? Oh, nelley.

I wouldn't be friends with my younger self. Don't like who he was. In some ways, I'm not that boy anymore. In others, I am. All I can do is look in the mirror and admit my truth — that I wasn't always a kind person, a good person, and wasn't always trying to be any of those things, but I am now.

Should I have stayed up all-night working on Ventus? No. I did though because it was fun and I'm actually doing something. Fable will feel guilty about never doing hobbies or sticking to them when they do, but then feel shame for putting time into them. You want the prize you gotta put in labour.

I might only have a Chromebook and a thread of hope thinner than the shreds at the end of my emo hoodie sleeves, but I will make this work. I'll will it into existence.

I'd eventually like to make the hop from Google to Anything Else. As it stands, I'm on a Chromebook. Not much I can do. Changing email providers is one step forward though. I did a bunch of research today and chose Proton.
