I'm here, queer, and ready to organize. Agender bookworm, artist, gym rat, and anti-capitalist.

In just 45 days, nearly every government agency has been hacked and a cabinet hell-bent on ramping up Project 2025 has been installed. We are watching a coup in plain sight. What was democratic leadership's response?

Pink suits and signs. 🙄

Our leaders are failing us.
Decorum will be our DOOM.

While I'm working through my non-fiction reading list, I took some time to read "Bable, or the Necessity of Violence" by R. F. Kuang.

This book fit in perfectly to the non-fiction themes I've been studying of war, exploitation, white supremacy, and activism.

I absolutely devoured this book.

Just finished "How Civil Wars Start" by Barbara F. Walter. Its probably one of the most terrifying but necessary reads I've done yet.

The first five chapters outline the indicators and accelerators for Civil War, with numerous examples.

The sixth chapter shows how it could play out in America.

I finished "On Tyranny" by Timothy Snyder. This seems to be the first book people picked up after Trump won - and for good reason.

Reading this book feels both like prophecy and deja-vu. It's a short read, and I think anyone wanting a picture of America's future needs to pick it up.

This week, I am adding two books to my itinerary.

Can we please stop acting like Trump will follow the law? Please, for the love of our future?

It is not a crazy thing to say he will illegally seize power. He's already refusing to comply to a peaceful transition. To FBI background checks.

If there was ever an echo chamber, it's this one.

WAKE UP

As you disassociate from the reality that Trump is forming, do not fall into it.

Continue to stay outside of it, as uncomfortable it may be. Stand above it and refuse to accept it.

Maintain our humanity.

The more I learn about how america got here and understand what's likely coming next, the firmer my belief is that no one will be coming to save us.

We need to organize at a community level. It's not too late.
